Last weekend, at Fame Cinemas, Whitefield, i was very nostalgic when National Anthem was played before the start of the movie. Everyone stood up, the audience, staff of the theatre, people walking in stopped in their steps and everyone joined in. It was a great moment, and brought back memories of small theatres in small towns, where the national anthem along with the other documentaries were played. It turns out that this is common place in Maharashtra, but a recent development in Bangalore.
The national anthem played out was a Rehman production, and is great in a movie theatre setting. There seems to be other people who have had similar experiences. All and all, a great initiative. Kudos to Fame Cinemas.

Playing national anthem before the show is a common practise in maharashtra(Mumbai) but karnataka too following the same , its great. Congrats, infact every state should follow the same
The best part is everyone respects the national anthem and the spirit of india could be felt and visualised .
