Join us on May 9th for Bangalore’s first Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). GAAD is a community-driven international effort to increase awareness of digital (web, software, mobile app/device, touch screen kiosk, etc.) accessibility for people with disabilities.

Do you know how well the interfaces you design or build work for users with disabilities? Users browsing the web with accessibility devices are often frustrated by the barriers that we as designers & developers unknowingly put in their way.

To raise awareness about these issues a number of Bangalore based companies are coming together to discuss accessibility issues, learn from experts and share best practices. Come join us.

Commitment required : 2 hours on May 9th.

Tailor your intra-company awareness program with the following options available
-Send delegates to the main event to be hosted in the city where
accessibility experts will share their views followed by a panel discussion from select company representatives
-Host a speaker – we will organize for a speaker to come on site if
large audience is available. Else webcast/Video can be arranged
-Recommend a speaker from your company or network to participate in
the main event
-Create a video of your own efforts and upload it online with the #GAAD
